I finished my very first 15k in 1:39:13, which put me at 10:38/mile. My goal was 10:00/mile, my expectation was 11:00/mile. Very happy with my results.

So...here I am, at the “end” of my journey. I set out to lost 17 pounds and run a 15k. However, I lost 12 pounds and ran a 15k. I f***ing did that!!! On my journey I actually learned a lot about myself.

I’ve learned that;
1. My weight does NOT define my abilities.
2. I am braver than I thought possible.
3. I am STRONG (and stubborn as hell). 4. That it is NECESSARY, as a working mother and wife, to take time for myself (and not to feel bad about it).
5. I do NOT need to be a certain weight to feel sexy as hell!
6. I am a much calmer person when I work out and care for my body.
7. The payoff to doing things that SCARE me, feel incredible to do!
..And SO much more.

So..on to my next goal; completing a half marathon!! imwaybh9qtkp.jpeg
