Cutting down sugar

Sugar seems to be the one thing that I really can't balance out. I almost always go over on sugar (even when I'm under on carbs). On days that I don't go over on sugar, I tend to go over on protein or under on calories. I'm trying to find a way to balance this out, but I'm having trouble. Any tips?

Don't worry about going over on protein. The protein limit is set low on MFP. When I was going to the gym and was trying to lose weight (I'm pregnant right now) I frequently got close to twice my recommended protein. Protein is great for your muscles and it helps keep you full and satisfied. As far as sugar goes, you don't need to worry too much as long as it's coming from natural sources like fruit and milk. It's the refined sugar you need to watch. I'm always over my sugar but only a small fraction of it comes from refined sugar. I was still losing 1-2 pounds a week even though I was over on sugar from natural sources and protein.0
