Hello there.
Just a quick question. Water, how much are you drinking. Is it helping with your weight loss ? Me personally I'm drinking between 1500ml-2000ml a day, is this enough or not ?
Thanks
Wayne

I drink enough for my pee to be a light yellow color. That is your hydration test.

Directly water has no impact on weight loss, weight loss is determined by calorie deficit.

Indirectly, drinking water may help by avoiding eating in response to thirst and replacing drinks which contribute to calorie intake such as sugary sodas, creamy/milky drinks, etc. Being adequately hydrated is also important for health, but this is not limited to water, you get hydration from more or less all drinks and many foods.

Varies enormously depending on heat, humidity, exercise plus food and drink choices - remember you also take in water from your food and beverages, it's not exclusively plain water. Enough to remain adequately hydrated not a fixed amount.

Makes no difference for fat loss, that's a function of a calorie deficit over time.

The colour and frequency of urination should be a decent guide for you rather than an arbitrary fixed amount.

This is my personal opinion/experience. I track water intake because I will get lazy. I'm usually shooting for about 30% more than you are doing. Hydration seems to play a big role in my weight loss. Since I am running a calorie deficiency, I find that making sure that I spend the time to chew properly & hydrate while eating helps me feel full longer. In my mind (no data to back this up) the proper chewing and water help my body process the food in order to take advantage of micro-nutrients. As I said, just my opinion.
