That’s great! I bring my kids a minimum of once a year for a Valentine skate for a group we’re in. I put skates in this time and was too scared. I held the wall from an entrance to the next exit and was done. I had a mental meme that was like this:
“A kids greatest fear while skating” and it has a pic of them on the floor and other kids laughing at them.
Then
“An adults greatest fear while skating” and it has a pic of a broken hip, a broken neck, a wheelchair, a full body cast, a brain dead patient and a casket... cuz that’s what I feared. Lol

So kudos to you for still being able to do it and enjoying it. Also....not a land whale. You’re too hard on yourself.
