I’m joining the marines in the near future and have my medical in 3 months time. I need to lose 3 stone to hit their BMI requirements. What should my calorie intake be and how many would I need to burn to hit my goal?

You'll need to plug your stats into this site and it'll tell you!4

42lbs in 3 months is very amibitious, even for those with significant weight to lose. That is more than 2lbs/week, which is the highest deficit you can set for yourself on this site/app. You are going to have to buckle down and follow the calorie allotment MFP assigns to you very, very closely to achieve this kind of weight loss safely in such a short period of time. Not to be a negative Nancy but advice for very low calorie diets is against community policy because VLCD’s are just as detrimental to your health as obesity, if not more so. Take care.3

Change the time scale, realistically to a year if your end state is at healthy fat levels as opposed to overweight fat levels.
I note that the eligibility requirements seem to be willing to consider accommodating a waist size of 94cm (37") regardless of BMI and to accept a BMI of 28. https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/careers/joining/get-ready-to-join/royal-marines-commando/am-i-eligible4 -
As already mentioned - there is no way to hit that goal without risking your own health. I was a Marine for 8 years, I also wrestled in Highschool and experienced unhealthy weight loss to hit 135lbs at 6'2" - the Corps doesn't need you to kill yourself to make weight just to get to boot camp sooner - we want health recruits to shape into Marines.
I recently let myself get WAY overweight (215lbs) and have been on an ambitious program using this app and the INSANITY workout series. I'm down 13 lbs in 4 weeks and even that feels a little agressive, but i log my meals and i don't really do anything crazy (no keto, ets.) just keep my calories at or under the 2lb per week loss goal guidelines of 2000 calories and roughly 50% carbs, 20% protein and 30% fat . I chose to break it up into 5 400cal meals and then just bumped to 2500 calories now that I'm starting the second month of MAX videos and slowdown the loss and focus on converting that 25% bodyfat to lean mass....pick a target, and just work on it and stay healthy. fuel the body and push hard and you'll get there.7
