I have my Apple Watch activity and app linked. I walk around 10,000 to 11,000 steps per day. And my Apple Watch calculates that I do around 30 minutes of exercise (fast walking) a day. The Apple Watch says I burn around 500 calories just from normal steps but the my fitness pal app says I burn like 50 calories. Confused /:

The way an activity tracker works, the number of calories you burn in a day is compared to your activity level, and if you burned more calories than your activity level would account for, you get a calorie adjustment.

A 50 calorie adjustment means you've only been a little more active than the activity level you selected. If it's early in the day, it should keep adding up as you do daily activities. If it's at the end of the day, you might consider choosing a lighter activity level, if you want to see bigger adjustments. *This will not give you a larger number of calories overall, just a larger adjustment number.

Apple watch and MyFitnessPal don't integrate properly when directly synced.
People use the Pacer App to link the two to get the correct activity adjustments,
