I'm currently in school to become a certified personal trainer. And one thing I didn't realize was HOW important sleep and rest is!
Healthy eating and exercise go hand in hand when it comes to losing weight. Did you know that how well rested your body is can determine whether you lose weight or not? Lack of sleep can increase plateau. So make sure your getting enough sleep!! There is a way to to test how much sleep you need!
Sleep is just as important as a healthy diet.
If your having trouble, you can easily figure out how much sleep you need. For 10 days log what time you go to bed and what time you wake up. And find what amount of hours you need to not feel groggy or too tired. Mine is 7 hours..6 is too little and 9 is way to much! Lol

This is SO true! Even though I ate right and exercised, but only got 4-5 hours of sleep a night, the scale wouldn't budge. Slept 7-8 hours a night after that and all of a sudden my weight started melting off again and I hadn't changed my diet or exercise routine at all!0

I need 7.5-8 hrs to feel ok. I can live with 7 but 6.5 and under I am horrible! And just can't function! Lol I love my sleep. I find it really helps my exercise and performace if I am well rested. Thanks for the info. Its nice to be reminded I really need to make sure I am asleep by 10-10.30pm0

Remember, it doesnt matter WHEN you sleep, as long as you make it consistent. from 11pm - 6am every day, great! 4am - 11 am just as good. Just try to get into a pattern, and stick with it.0
