If anyone out here golfs, what do you use for calories burnt?
I've walked a very hilly 6,500 yard course twice recently --- carried my bag; took about 3.5 hours With the stop and go to hit shots and the meandering nature of golf --i.e. due to lack of talent, the walk is not a straight line but rather crooked, a couple of online calcs showed anywhere from 1100 to 1400 burnt @ 225 lbs. Sound reasonable? Apple health showed ~10,000 steps average between the two days.

General feedback and thoughts on golf or practicing golf please and thank you.

I've checked multiple places for calorie counts for golf, using a cart, and they all seem way too high to me. I play 3-4 times a week (except now during the virus crisis) and usually under report my time by an hour. That still gives me 700+ exercise calories. I don't eat back all of them, but I do eat around 500 of them. It hasn't hurt my weight loss at all. Since multiple sources say the same thing, maybe we do burn more than we think!
