MFP Choices....

Believe it or not, we all have them. We can choose our spouse. We can choose to get a tattoo. We can choose what kind of car to drive. We can choose the clothes we wear. We can choose how to brush our hair. We can choose to leave the toilet seat up. We can choose to drink bourbon. We can choose many, many things.
Here are a few things that IN MY OPINION some people on MFP need to realize are conscious choices and they need to take responsibility for them:
1. What you eat – you get to choose what you put in your body. No one is holding you down and shoving donuts, pizza and Coke down your throat. If they are, call the cops. Otherwise, realize we all make bad choices sometimes and that’s ok. But when you make a bad choice, don’t make an excuse. Own it, move on and do better next time.
2. If/how we exercise – we don’t all go to the gym every day. Some do and that’s great. I make every effort to get as much exercise as possible but I choose to focus on work and my family over my workouts sometimes. Those are higher priorities for me. They aren’t drastically higher because my health is important, but they are higher. If you don’t get to the gym or if you don’t work that hard when you’re there, that’s ok. It happens. But it isn’t the guy who gave you a weird look or the fact that all the treadmills were taken or any other lame excuse. You choose how much effort you put in.
3. Forums – there are a TON of very helpful threads in the forums. There are some that are there purely for entertainment value. Choose which style you like. If you like them both, read them both. If you don’t think the entertainment threads are appropriate, DON’T READ THEM. Again, it’s your choice much like it is everyone else’s choice to treat the forums as they so choose (within MFP rules, of course).
3A. Forum actions – some people take it very seriously, some (like me) like to goof off and push people’s buttons. Immature? You bet. Fun? Absolutely. I would never make fun of someone’s weight, appearance or anything personal like that but I do enjoy being somewhat antagonistic at times. That is my choice. You can choose to act differently. To each their own. We’re all adults.
These are my thoughts and solely my thoughts. You can choose to disagree. You can choose to tattle on me for somehow offending you, though I personally don’t see anything offensive in my post. You can choose to call me out. You can choose to support me. You can choose to ignore me and call me an immature jerk and hope and pray for the day MFP bans me. Enjoy your choices boys and girls. I’m choosing to go downstairs and get an ice cream cone (Skinny Cow caramel – 150 calories). PBT OUT!!!

lol You think that's bad? My friend's mother collects 50's advertisements as art. One of them is for what we now call a "Family pack" and it said "Fat Boy Pack" and had a picture of a fat little boy. LOL.
Although, that's not as bad as the one for sweet potatoes with a little black boy in a straw hat and coveralls saying "They sho' am sweet!!" :huh:0 -
So, are you related to Man Bear Pig?0

No, I can totally see your little piggy tail right next to where I am poking you with this rather long stick. You probably can't turn your head around that far. If you were an OwlBearTigerPig, you could totally see it.0 -
