Beginning My VSG Journey

Hello All!
I am having weight loss surgery in 2 weeks and today I began my pre-op diet. I joined in order keep track of my food/water intake and discovered that I can connect with others on their weight loss journeys!
So, my name is Lucy. I am a 36-year-old wife and mom of 4 crazy kids ranging in age from 6-19.
I am menopausal due to a radical hysterectomy 6 years ago and have been obese for the past 5 years. I have tried and failed at dieting for the last 3 years and finally chose to go the WLS route.
I am looking forward to meeting others and supporting each other on this wild ride.
