Self control tips?

Hi! Anyone know any good self control tips when it comes to emotional eating?

    I do this a lot. One thing I like is to make myself eat something “good” like fruit first before I go for the chocolate etc.

    Usually never let myself to a point where I am a hungry beast . And when cravings kick in , try to talk to my mind at divert it. It's trial and error

    If I'm feeling like I really want to have something, I'll log it before I eat it. Sometimes seeing the impact it will have on my day is enough to help me choose a smaller portion or skip it completely.
