Can I record steps as exercise?

Just wondering - can I record steps from my Fitbit in the exercise section and have it translate into calories earned?

I would just sync it rather then manually log it.

    Why do you think that?

Because there are no steps showing on MFP, and I definitely have step today. EDIT: I think I got it. We'll see!

Okay.. well I'm not overly familiar with Fitbit's but I know there is a reason why the two devices are better off synced

I feel like it has something to do with the calorie adjustments made between fitbit using tdee and mfp using neat..

But maybe someone else can give you better answer.

I would contact support to have them help you sync it

Your activity level assumes a certain number of steps. If you add the steps to your log, you might be double counting. If you go for a walk or a run, then add the steps. If your steps are just around the house or at work, then I wouldn't.
