5 year old dress!

My sister got married in 2006 and i bought a $180 bridesmaid dress, I was rock climbing at the time and felt great and had just turned 21. Sadly after i finished school i lost the climbing wall and gym and gradually put on weight. I saved the dress though hoping I would eventually fit into it again but it was a pipe dream and figured i'd have to sell it to a consignment shop eventually.
Well I got the guts and put it on after losing about 20 lbs (still 6lbs away from the weight i was when i wore it orignally) AND IT FITS!
I apologize the horribly dirty mirror I figured it was clean but it looks like someone was doing wall push ups on it with all the smudges and finger prints. I will make sure it's clean next time I attempt to take pictures.

Really well done!! I also have a beautiful dress that I only ever wore once about 4 years ago when I was 22. I can't wait till the day I fit into it (hopefully by the end of the year) it's just going to be the best feeling!0

Congratulations. It looks great on you. I have a dress in my closet that I can't bear to part with. I call it my power dress and I was sad when I could no longer fit in it. But I WILL get back into it!

I have a dress, that I bought 3 years ago and never yet worn because I look so fat in it...am hoping to wear it one day (maybe that day it will be too big).
But good for you and I can`t see any smudges on those mirrors lol0 -
