Gained??

I feel like ......if I stay within my calories and get exercise, I should lose weight. This morning - up a pound. What the heck. Granted I’ve only been back at this for a few days, but still. Just needed to rant.

I’ve been really on point with my logging/eating/calories as of late. 2 days ago I weighed in with a 1 lb loss. This morning I weighed in 0.8 lb higher. The human body is an organism not a machine. It just does weird crap and there’s nothing you can do but stay the course.

So moral of the story: I still dropped weight over 2 days.

Thanks! I am a post menopausal woman as well, AnnPT77, so loss is not easy. Combine that with stress COVID eating.....yeah. I'll keep soldiering on.

Try not to worry about it, I haven't gone over on calories this month and I exercise most days and my weight goes up and down more or less every day. These are my weights for the month (I post them on a daily weigh in post on the motivation and support forum)

    Week 1
    4/1: 162.4
    4/2: 163
    4/3: 162
    4/4: 162
    4/5: 164
    4/6: 161.8
    4/7: 162.6
    Week 2
    4/8: 162
    4/9: 162
    4/10: 161.8
    4/11: 160.8
    4/12: 161.4
    4/13: 160.8
    4/14: 160
    Week 3
    4/15: 159.6
    4/16: 159.2
    4/17: 158.8
    4/18: 160
    4/19: 159.4
    4/20: DNW
    4/21: DNW
    Week 4
    4/22: 157.8
    4/22: 158.8
    4/23: 157.8

They go up and down constantly, but the overall trend is that it is going down. I would really recommend a weight trending app! :)

I was so happy yesterday - weighed in and I was down 1.5 pounds. Today - up a pound. The human body is a strange thing. I can only hope that over time the trend will be downward. And yes, I eat a bit of chocolate every day, but I count it in. :)
