Covid weight gain is a thing for sure. I'm fighting it all the way. My problem is the fact that I'm not as active now that I have been forloughed from an active job. So as much as I am mindful of what I eat. Lack of excersize is an issue.

Lots of great online workouts out there for free! YouTube, Amazon Prime, and Peloton is doing 90 day free trials now on their app if you sign up by 4/30! Give it a go!

I'm fighting that comfort food weight from the first few weeks of quarantine followed by a lack of motivation after. We have to keep pushing, and luckily the workouts here and some on YouTube make it fun and enjoyable to try harder. If you have a goal in mind I think that helps. Keep going!

I am retired and was doing good on my healthy eating until my husband had to start working from home! Now we both are eating too much! It is especially hard for him because he is missing something in his digestive system and cannot eat any raw vegetables or fruits without getting very sick.
He has had this issue all his life and now doesn’t really like vegetables at all! I am the opposite, I love all vegetables.

If you want to try a team approach where you get to know your teammates and get lots of support, consider the Fat2Fit Challenge and Support Group. This group has several teams that are small enough so you can know everyone, there is some healthy competition, lots of tips, ideas, and experience, and tons of support to get you unstuck and through the hard patches. And of course they'll cheer you on when it all goes well! All through the COVID time the teams are really pulling together to help each other, and try to keep from eating the stress.

You can check out the group at
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/114605-fat-2-fit-weight-loss-challenge-and-support-group
The full group activities and challenges are under "Announcements" and the team chat threads are under "Discussions". Feel free to look at anything, see if there is a team that you like, or just take a chance and sign up!

    Here is the sign-up page:

The May challenge begins May 3rd, but you can already be assigned to a team and get to know everyone before then. Feel free to share these links with others you think might be interested. Teams are one of the best ways to get social support on MFP, I find. This group is amazing - people from all over, all ages, all weights, and all making progress towards goals and fitness! Hope to see you there

C-19 is certainly responsible for my extra weight. I take my vacation to the fridge every evening. Best of it is I know exactly what’s in the so why I have to keep sticking my head in there searching for goodies is beyond me! I don’t buy any😂... I try to stick to a healthy diet but I’m a frontliner and as much as I’m running about constantly eating is kinda on the go with whatever I can get my hands on. Evening meal remains healthy.
I like walking and now I’ve just started cycling 😬
