Samsung Health counting steps from phone and watch

I have a Samsung Gear Sport watch and love using it to count my steps. Unfortunately the Samsung Health app shows a lot more steps than what my watch shows because it's also counting the steps counted from my phone. When the information transfers to MyFitness Pal it also shows steps from my watch and phone because it receives information from the Samsung Health app. How do I get the Samsung Health app to only count the steps from my watch?
Thanks guys!

There is an option on the to add phone and watch steps together, there is an option for steps from watch only in settings at this point in time I cant find it to be more specific if you find it before I do please post0

Go to Samsung health app on the phone assuming you have a Galaxy phone as well, on the dial that says the steps count touch the all steps now top right corner this takes you to another page top right 3 dots touch this and view your count step data > there are two options all steps .galaxy watch and phone 2. phone this may not be ideal option 2 it would be good if there was an option for watch only0
