I am 59 years old and need to lose 20 pounds. I have a desk job. Before COVID I did aerobics 2-3 times a week and water aerobics 2 times a week. I have been eating healthy for the most part but can’t shed the pounds. Very frustrated. Hoping counting macros will help. Haven’t been exercing the last month. Hoping to start a routine did treadmill for 25 minutes and weights today!

Counting macros will not help.
You need to count calories.
With only 20 pounds to lose, you need to set your weight loss goal to half a pound per week and make sure you eat back 50% of any exercise you do.
Eating below 1200 calories is not safe.
Your weight loss is going to be slow, accuracy in calorie counting is detrimental here because of the small margin for error.
I would suggest a food scale and using food entries from the usda.
You can find them by typing in things like
"USDA, boneless skinless chicken breast, raw" and selecting the one that appears more often and listed in grams, which is why a food scale is important.1
