I was the Queen of justifying
The first step (for me, anyway) to losing weight was realizing and admitting I have a problem. Now that I have admitted I have a problem I see how MUCH I played the justification game and straight out lied to myself. I was ridiculous.
Things like-
-I am not that bad (Insert name) is bigger than I am.
- It looks like I have a double chin because of how I was holding my head
- sleeveless shirts make my arms look fat.
I have faced the facts. Guys, I am fat. And now that I accept that I can work toward changing it.
So - what crazy things did you tell yourself? Or am I the only one?

It doesn’t matter what you do you will always be fat. Go ahead you can’t lose any weight. It’s my life I live like I want to. Then life said oh hell no you’re not healthy and need pills, pills, pills. That was the turning point for me.3

“You will always be fat”
I did that one, too. But it wasn’t my fault. It was my situation or hormones or something that made me the victim of it and not the cause of it.2 -
“I am short, it doesn’t take much extra weight to make me look fat”

“You still have a nice shape.” Actually that was true up to a point. Still unhealthy though. “You’re still very strong and active.” That too was true up to a point. Grains of truth2

“You don’t want to be a stick”.
Uhm. Well. I don’t want to be an Apple either. Perhaps somewhere in the middle?1
