I am going to open up here. I suffer from depression which triggers my bad eating habits. I am tired of being depressed and overweight and am looking for friends that can help me stay focused. I am going to try this program as I can't afford any other one and this was recommended to me. I hope to make friends here that can help.

I am manic bipolar and I suffer from depression as well so I know exactly what you mean and are going through... it’s rough and it’s going to be a long journey, and it won’t be easy but with the right support system anything is possible. I will be your friend if you’d like. Then we can show each other the support we need!

Feel free to add me. I’ve been up and down with weight most of my life. I know depression and anxiety have a lot to do with it.

If you can, try to get the depression treated before you start. If you can stop yourself from suffering then it will make everything else easier.

If you are unable to, then try to start off slowly. Change a few habits for the better, like going for a walk in the morning or evening, tracking your calories with how you normally eat to start getting an idea of where you can and should cut, and overall just going easy on yourself as you step into the process and get comfortable with it.

I'm not sure if any of that helps, but I hope it does and I wish you the best.

Currently we are dealing with an extra stressful time. I have been struggling with binge eating as a coping mechanism which is a dangerous downward spiral for weight gain. Feel free to add me as a friend and hopefully we can support each other in difficult times when we need a positive nudge.
