Went out on saturday night and broke my toe. Can anybody advise me on what exercise I can do now. Really want to do some exercise. Normally I do walking and use the rowing machine which I can't do until my toe gets better. So frustrated x

I've recently had an op on my big toe - and I would steer clear of "traditional CV work" - anything with an "impact".
Maybe just do weights ? I know not a typical "cardio exercise" but if you lift a weight that is light enough you can repeat sets as a decent pace, you WILL sweat and burn fat!
I used to think that unless I got really sweaty in the gym, there was no point - I've been pleasantly surprised - I;ve noticed my shape changing massively AND I do sweat (like I do on the treadmill!) - besides it's better than nothing right ?
Definitely no "standard cardio" - agree with the others on here - you will make it worse... get well soon xx0 -
My gym has an arm cycle for people who can't use their legs - does yours perhaps have one? They look a little odd, but apparently give a very good workout.0

I'm not sure you should be swimming with a broken toe. I'm no expert though.0

You can absolutely swim with a broken toe!0

OK - assumed it would be bandaged up thought, rather than "can't" physically.
Good luck x0 -
swimming was my intiital thought too even if you swam without using your legs (great for the arms) You could do strength training like the crunches and dips challenges going today0
