Getting steps by peloton?

Hi can someone advise me where to put my phone while on my bike to get accurate steps into the phone app? Strapping to my thigh is my guess? Any knowledge would be great!!!

    If you are in a bike why do you need to calculate your steps?

    Steps on a bike are irrelevant, the bike should give you your workout summary just log that as a separate exercise.

    If you want no accuracy at all, do that. You're not taking any steps when you ride a bike.
