If your friends, family, and coworkers were to see you posting on here...

I wouldn't care. Most all know that I'm working on losing weight. This is a great supportive community, and if they've found me on here they must have a reason for joining as well.6

“Why is your friends list only women?”3
-
Doesn't bother me, I know quite a few people who are on here.2

I’d have so much fun.
Not like they’d recognize me. 😁2 -
Hopefully they’d be polite enough to pretend they didn’t see me.4

*kitten* everybody.
Nothing personal. That's just how I feel in 2020.
I just gotta do me and keep on posting.2 -
Prepare myself for the usual barrage of misunderstanding.
Like the coworker who saw a protein shake on my desk and asked, "Are you trying to lose weight?" Sigh. No. I'm trying to increase my protein.
Or when I mentioned following some principles of the Omni Heart Diet, the friend who told me I "didn't need a diet". Sigh. If I didn't have a diet I'd die, and since when is adopting a heart-healthy diet exclusively for the overweight?2 -
If you use an anonymous profile photo no one will bat an eyeball.

I wosh they would, my three family members who were on here quit after a month. If they were seeing my business on here ot means they're using the app again!3

Decline any of their requests 😅 I know that may sound bad, but I like having my own space and objective people to talk with. I'll share my health/fitness journey with them when I'm ready.1

😂 that's what my sister in law is doing.3 -
One of my daughter's had a peek from my phone, she laughed a lot, rolled her eyes a bit and handed it back and said something like.. yeah, have fun mum 🤣😂1

Nothing I say or do surprises them. They just shrug it off and say "yep, that's my girl."2

My folks are too technologically illiterate to use this site. My father also equates "calorie counting" with "eating disorder", so yeah.. probably best he's not on here. I don't need "the talk" from him in my 30s.
And so far that I know, I have no IRL friends on here. Then again, I have very few IRL friends period, so that's probably why.
But if for some reason any of them make it here; I got nothing to hide. They'll either know it's me.. or not. I don't care. I'm here to manage my health and try to get down to a healthy BF%.1 -

I like being anonymous here. This is where I complain about my coworkers, and my favorite conversations here are the ones that show the real side of people, the kind of stuff you only tell your best friend or anonymous strangers in the internet.4

Am as annoying and odd in real life as I am on here so I'd feel the same as usual. No shade, no shame.2
