Hi,everyone.I joined a couple of days ago and I'm loving it so far.
A friend of mine told me about this website.
It's really helping me to stay focus and
to monitor the types of food I eat. According to my scale (which I hope is very accurate),I've already lost 3lbs:smile

Welcome! You have found one of the best tools ever (if not THE best tool). I love this site too. Years of trying to lose weight, successfully but not successfully (yo-yo), have made me kind of a connoisseur of sorts of diets! (in my mind at least!)
One note about the scale - if that is the scale that you always use to weigh yourself there won't be any problem. Your losses will be measured from your start and your start was on that scale. If you eventually buy a new scale, or see at the doctor's office that your weight is different, that will be another story.

Hi.
I have never been able to stay on plan as I am now thanks to MFP. I have been on almost 2 months and have never missed a day. The food database is awesome. It makes it so easy to keep track and its just recently that I started participating in the community boards. This month for the first time I took on two fitness challenges. It makes it fun and I'm exercising more than ever. I've checked all the tools too. This is the best program online and it's FREE.

Hello, SmallerMe!
Welcome to a fabulous place..........I've been here about 3 weeks, and started my 'quest' about 6 weeks ago. Have lost somewhere between 7 and 8 lbs, and am quite delighted with that - as it hasn't been HARD, and I don't feel like I'm killing myself.
My biggest downfall is lack of exercise, and I'm trying to remedy that by walking more, and just MOVING more. I've been pretty sedentary for quite some time........and it's catching up to me in a big way!
So, I would recommend you do whatever exercise is comfortable for you, and log your foods every day! It's very motivating, and actually kind of fun!
