Before and After Story

Options
I've been anorexic for 30 years, but within the past 7 I started really fighting my body because it was piling on the weight no matter what I did. At 5'2 almost 5'3", I eventually was 177 pounds! So I went to an obesity specialist who put me on Metformin for a prediabetic condition I had developed. I resumed eating 1200 calories a day, using MFP, and finally, because of the addition of the med, my body started releasing the weight! I couldn't believe it. I was pretty much done losing in January of this year, but picked up personal training to change the appearance of my body and body composition. I did this in February, and now, 3 months later, my body is starting to build muscle and lose fat, and I'm another 3 pounds down -- bringing me so far to 113 pounds. I'm SO relieved! I hope you like my before and afters! I now eat a little more than the 1200 calories a day (between 1300-1500 a day usually), recording my food still on MFP, and working out (zoom right now) with my trainer 3 days a week. One more thing! I was in a wheelchair until early this year and now with all the training I've done I'm finally free of the chair and full of energy and strength! The changes have been amazing!

Nice approach - never forget that training. :) I LOVE that you freed yourself of a wheelchair too.
