    NTS,

You're doing great, beautiful! It's all about the balance πŸ˜€xdyas52ng98x.jpg

I'm the guy who was creepy following you all over the grocery store with the same exact items in my cart 😬...

Although I've switched to animal cookies this time around... They are actually less than half the calories of an oreo each πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

For whatever it's worth, Doritos and Oreos are Vegan foods.

I commend you for helping to save the planet.

Since the kids have been off school I no longer feel the need to have convenience snacks in the house. We have been oreo free for two months! 😒

Phew! I thought they were pickles or green bananas which, as you know, are an mfp violation.

Next time, charge the clippers before starting your bald fade πŸ™ˆ

okay, I've always been pretty proud of my hair.

I have dark, healthy hair and there's not a lot of grey peeking thru (thanks mom / thanks dad / thanks God).

anyway, for the last couple of decades it's been - good haircut + clean shaven; that's just how I am.

Covid hits and I think: 'No client meetings, no social interaction.... why not just let the beard grow.'
10 weeks later, it's been trimmed, however make no mistake, it's a full beard.

Barbershops everywhere are closed and my hair is getting a little shaggy (like most everyone else).

I have hair trimmers with a variety of attachments.

Three weeks ago, the TrophyWife gives me a trim around the ears and neckline. No worries, it looks good and I'm happy.

    Flash forward to last weekend.

I ask her to do the same..... only this time, I screw-up.
I give her the trimmers with the wrong attachment. It's the close one, the number #1.

She does a quick pass and utters "Ut oh..."

    I look in the mirror.

This isn't good, but I think it can be salvaged.

She trims more on the sides and the back.

    Then some more.

She says: ' You need to take a look at the back, it's not good.'

In the mirror, I take a look at the back; she's right, it's not good.

I think: 'I can fix this; I damn sure can!'

The Trophywife gives up and leaves not wanting to inflict any more carnage. I don't blame her.

I'm right-handed and I'm using my left hand while looking into a mirror that's looking into another mirror while trying to repair a haircut on the back of my melon. The odds of success are slim.

However, I make a pass and think: 'Dang, yeah... this is okay.... just one more pass up just a little higher and I'm good! "

I make the last pass with the clippers. Complete Disaster.

I looks like mange on a hyena. (with apologies to hyenas everywhere.)

Okay, man... think.... what to do?

    Semper Fi

Yep... clippers on the closest setting. I ran that *kitten* front to back with about 12 passes to level it all out.

The last time I had a cut like this, I was in the second grade playing little league baseball during the Summer months.

    Family reactions were:

    'Well, that's different.'

    and

    'Cool, I like it.'

    and

'You screwed up, you should have opted for the mohawk.'

anyway.... from clean shaven and longer, styled hair to full beard & buzz cut.

    That is all

    ..... carry on.

I sure would like to see this

    in due time.

    the buzzcut occurred on Saturday.

everyday since, I've been taking a headshot photograph, standing in the same spot at the same time.

I'll eventually pull them all together.

*noted that you want to see it.

I would never ever ever trust mine to do my hair πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚...

She'll straight jack me up on purpose and make it look like an accident...

I gotta buddy at work who's cut hair for years and he's crazy into it... He got me hella into it...

I'd practice on my kid but he's got really long gorgeous curls and won't let me near him πŸ˜‚
