Going back to the grindstone *sigh*

So had my birthday yesterday and I had planned to bank calories leading up to it but that didn't work out so what's the best plan of attack to get back at it? I'm sure I easily consumed 2500 - 3000 i might have consumed less but I'll use that as a base how many days should I allow to balance it out and get normal service resuming 👍

Just to add aswell daily allowance is 2065 I've logged for tomorrow minus one lunch meal and I've just shy of 950 calories remaining0

It was your birthday. Do a quick add of however many calories you think you ate (or don't log it at all). Then be done with it. Let the day go and just get back to your normal deficit today. One day isn't going to hurt.

Pretend like it didn't happen and just keep doing what you've been doing. Don't let your brain get involved with guilt and "making up for it" and all if that because trust me...you'll be worse off in the end!5

One day’s delay in a lifetime isn’t going to mean a hill of bean’s difference.
There is no recording angel tapping his book and saying, “well, seat12v it appears you fell off your meal plan on May 20th. We’ve reserved a spot in Purgatory for you.”
He doesn’t have to. We make our own Purgatory thinking like this.6 -
Do not try to make up for a heavy calorie day with extra restrictions. Just go back to your normal calorie deficit. One day isn’t going to throw anything off.6

Your calorie goal in MFP is 2065, but you ate 2500-3000? As others have said, it's not worth worrying about regardless, but if those are your numbers, it's likely that you've delayed reaching your ultimate goal weight by one to maybe two days, tops.
That isn't worth worrying about purely based on the numbers, even, let alone that "don't worry about it" is the philosophically correct answer for a rare over-goal day during weight loss regardless. It was your birthday!

Just go back to your normal healthy routine, but keep a little of that happy birthday glow.5 -
I took a cheat day on Mother’s Day. I have no idea how many calories I ate, because I wasn’t tracking. I didn’t even go back and track a guestimation later. I can tell you I probably ate more than I burned because I spent the day reading and eating and then went to bed feeling lethargic and uncomfortably full. But dang it, my husband made dinner and cleaned up afterwards and it was delicious, so I went back for seconds!
That day in my diary is completely blank. I’m down a few lbs anyway so clearly I’m doing alright.6 -
Cheat days, IMO, are okay as long as you don't turn them into cheat weeks and months, as I did. That length of time is harder to rebound from. But 1 day? Meh, get back to it today and you're good. BTW, Happy Belated Birthday!!3
