I’ve been using free fitness pal for a long time off and on but without the nutrient tracking .. I was on track then not then back on and off again but this time I am committing to a life long change and am tracking my nutrients with the paid version with the hope of eating better.
I had gained 10 pounds during covid shelter in place within the first month but I have been pushing really hard on the cardio front for the last month now and tracking with this app and I am back to my pre covid weight looking to keep going and drop another 10 pounds.
It keeps getting harder now and looking to get and offer some community support with friends who are trying to do the same or whatever goals you have hit me up

Congrats, 10lbs is a big loss! Have you read this Myfitnesspal blog post?
https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/5-ways-to-change-your-set-point-weight/
I think some of it could apply to you here, in particular the part where it suggests dropping weight, then maintaining for a while, then dropping weight again. I think that especially since you've been hitting the cardio hard, it wouldn't hurt to work on strength just so as to avoid any injury that could potentially set you back in the future!
Anyway, all the best0 -
Thanks that’s a great article. I think I’ll try some of that to get out of this plateau. I want to do weights but sadly I can’t see going to a gym anytime soon so have to figure out something I can do at home without any equipment. Probiotics is interesting. I was considering daily carb cycling too while still maintaining the same protien and calories intake to get the metabolism going again.0
