I’ve been bulking since January now and have gone from 7stone 5 to 7 stone 13 (5ft 1)... when do i start to cut? And if I cut surely I will go back to the original weight and be unhealthy again?
Help would be appreciated 😩😊

I would start to cut whenever you feel you have reached your goal, uncomfortable at a certain bodyfat %. Or when you reach a bodyfat around 25% or more (which can be hard to tell but looking at photos you can sort of guestimate).
When you cut you don't necessarily go back to your original weight although some people do. You will hopefully have more muscle and better body composition than when you started.
What do you mean by unhealthy again? Your original weight, while low, was not underweight but if you felt unhealthy there you definitely do not have to go down that low.
Alternatively you can skip the cut altogether and maintain if you are happy where you are or recomp to lose a bit of the fat gained without losing weight.0 -
Thanks for your help... how would I do recomp?0

At your height and weight you’ll probably too lean to effectively recomp, my wife is 5.2ft
And sits between 7.9. - 7.12, she simply doesn’t have the fat to recomp. Depending on your goal I’d consider a slow mass phase,
Then maintain your weight for at least a month before you start cutting, slow steady fat loss on a good resistance program should help to keep most of your muscle gains

Pretty much do everything you are doing now but instead of gain you would maintain your weight. Continue to get adequate protein and lift.

After my first bulk I spent about 3 months at maintenance/recomp before I ran a small cut (I lost about 3lbs total) to tighten things up. You really have many options depending on your goals.1 -
Thankyou so much!0
