Morning all. I am obviously doing something very wrong here. Keeping strictly to my allowance per meal, weighting and where possible scanning foods. Got my exercise level up nicely, and using the additional calories to make sure taking on board enough otherwise it won’t accept the low consumption for the day. So the outcome is just a very slight weight movement in 4 weeks. Very demoralised

How old are you? What is your height and weight? How much weight are you trying to lose? How much weight have you lost over the past four weeks? Are you using a food scale and weighing your food?2

And on top of the questions asked by harper16, you mention increasing your exercise level. A change in exercise routine can cause water weight gain (to repair your muscles) which can temporarily mask fat loss on the scale.4

Thank you. I wondered if the exercise might be an impacting factor. Certainly clothing is looser, but forgot to take measurements at the outset. In the last 4 weeks only a flutctuating 1lb loss or less. Trying to lose around 10lbs. It has me on 1200 calls a day. Age 60. The 5.2, weight 10st 70

The last 10lbs are notoriously hard to lose. It's likely to be slow going - but you'll get there2
