I would love to join. Just started my fitness journey yesterday.
Current weight: 234.5
Goal weight:180

I’m on this journey for better health and wellness so if I can lose 15-20lbs by June 30 then I can look forward to more. Can’t wait ladies.

    Your goal is to lose almost a lb a day for a month? Healthy weight loss would be 1.5 lbs a week.

    Your goal sounds like it would be healthier done over the span of the entire summer rather than a month.

    Stick with the folks in the forums and consider getting counsel from your doctor or nutritionist on how best to move forward for your individual needs and goals.

    Hi, my current weight is 233. I started at 239 about a week ago. Even though that’s about a pound a day, I know that won’t be the case for the rest of this journey. The first week is often a lot of water weight lost and I think the change in diet is a shock so you may lose weight quickly the first week but then it will slow.
    I’m excited to just see a downward trending line on my progress graph on this app! Let’s do this!

    Welcome! You got this. Weight is coming off slowly but moving in the right direction for me, sometimes won't budge but trying. I have at least 80 lbs to lose but am making small goals so it's not so intimidating. Add me if you'd like. I'm on here every day.

    Hi there
    I have been using MFP for almost 3 years. I had reached my goal weight a year ago, losing 30 lbs. over the last year there has been a lot of stress for me (no excuse I guess) and I’ve gained back some of my weight. I am having a little trouble sticking to a workout program now, so I thought I’d join the community forum for the first time and see if I could build my motivation and also e courage others. I’m currently at 150 and my goal weight is 125 lbs. I’m hoping for 1.5 lb per week weight loss.
