Hi, Ive just swapped from a Fit Bit to an Apple watch and altho Apple have its own way of doing things, I still like to count steps so that I can use My Fitness Pal.
BUT on my Fitbit I used to say get 500 earnt calories for walking 10,0000 steps, yesterday I did the same steps but it said 89 calories!! Obviously its to do with the change of device. I loved that MFP encouraged me to move more to earn more calories.
I've lost over a stone by using my Fitbit and MyFitnessPal this year, so I know it works.
Do I need to change something in my Apple Watch set up to make it give me more calories on MFP? I love the watch apart from this stepping issue.

Apple doesn't sync correctly to MFP - they send the wrong data.

They send a Sedentary burn figure that is almost equal to MFP's Sedentary activity level - hence the small difference.

You need to unlink accounts, stop that sync.

In the MFP App area find and sync to Pacer app.

Then in Apple sync to it also.

Now Pacer will get your Moving calories over to MFP so MFP knows when you did more, and the workouts will sync over.

Thank you so much, we've done that, fingers crossed I'm sorted now. :)
