FIRST 5 lbs lost! Beginning my journey.

I have lost my first 5lbs and I am relieved to have stopped gaining and to be moving in the right direction. I just stopped nursing my little one which had really thrown my metabolism for a loop.

I am reading a few books about changing your relationship to food, and it has helped a lot. "French Women Don't Get Fat" and "Women God and Food". I am trying to really heal myself, not just "go on a diet" because diet failure is worse than not dieting at all!

I am happily reading all of your success story posts. Thanks for the inspiration!
