Question about bread

Options
So I compared two different raisin breads from two local bakeshops (Danes Bakeshop and Valley Bread, im from the Philippines). The one from Danes says that 2 slices would equal 90 calories, while the one from Valley Breads says that a single slice would equal 280 calories. Is it even possible that a single slice of white bread has that much?

    Yes definitely possible.

"Slices" don't mean much. You need to compare the gram weight of the slices from each bakery. For 90 calories the slices would have to be tiny. For 280 calories the slice would have to be huge & or thick. If possible, call the bakeries and ask them.

On top of slice size/thickness, with raisin breads, there can be a lot of variation in sweetness (maybe something like cinnamon sugar swirled in, more sugar in batter, sugar in a topping or glaze) and richness (eggs, oil in batter). If you've had both breads, you might be able to compare the ingredients, macronutrients, and taste to get an idea. It's not impossible, if one is a big/heavy slice of rich, sweet bread, and the other is more like a normal white bread with a few raisins or on in it.
