Hi all, totally new to this, well, kind of. I've been under a coach with a calorie deficit with training every other day (4 times a week) for 16 weeks now. Zero weight loss. No change in clothing. Slight change in photos. What the hell am I doing wrong? I get I should be patient but 16 weeks and zero weight loss with such a huge calorie deficit and training program?! Getting me down now.....

If you are not losing weight you are not eating at a calorie deficit. It really is, in the long term, as simple as that. Why do you think you are currently eating at a deficit? Are you weighing and measuring all your food and logging it? How did you determine your calorie numbers? Start with reading the postings stuck to the top of the getting started forum and all will become clear.

What is your current height and weight?
How much weight do you want to lose?
How many calories are you eating?
Are you double checking the database entries you are choosing are accurate? Using a food scale? Logging everything everyday?

Sadly Heidi is right (oh I wish that wasn't the case!). A week or two with no weight loss can be explained away in terms or hormones or whatever but 16 weeks... that means you're not in deficit let alone a big one.
