You can work out your speed based on the distance and time it took you, then enter that into the mfp database. It'll give you an approximate amount of cals burnt. :o)
  • No i said i have no equipment!

Thanks ill try that Sophie :)

    No probs :o)

I don't know if you use Map My Run but it's great for tracking distances. Good luck :o)

    Hiya,
I am doing Couch to 5k too, and I would normally use map my run to find out the distance travelled, then if you time yourself and put it into map my run, the website will tell you your average speed and calories used. You can then just Auto add the calories to MFP and name the activity yourself. Dont forget, if you are logging your walks inbetween your runs as 'walking' you will lose out on logging some calories because your heartrate will still be elevated from your run and you will have a higher burn rate.

    Does that make sense? :)

I just log as an average. i know my distance and time so i just use an average speed and log it as that. not 100% accurate but not too bad.
  • Thanks for the help!
