Hi,

Has anybody tried rebounding (exercising on a mini trampoline)? I tried it in a gym and enjoyed it, now I can no longer afford the gym I decided to invest in my own mini trampoline.

Was wondering if anyone had been using one long term? What are the results like? Do you follow a routine or just run/jog?

Thanks!

  • find a member named pffssas. she does this constantly, and always has crazy burn numbers.... not to mention, she's a phenomenal spirit....she'll hook ya up
  • I did it for a while. I started with a cheap Walmart trampoline, which wasn't much better than jumping up and down on the floor. Then I found a Needak trampoline on eBay, which is much springier. I was trying to follow a Cardiolates DVD made by the Pilates on Fifth owners (red headed twins that used to be Rockettes, I think). It was very difficult for me. I had trouble doing some of the stretches even. Then I developed some trouble with my ankles, so I stopped. You need plenty of room to jump around, so I wouldn't try it where you have regular 7 foot ceilings.

I still have the trampoline and maybe this winter when it's crappy outside, I'll jog on it.
