Motivation!

I have lost all motivation! I sit at a desk all day promising myself I am going to go to the gym after work. By the time I drive the hour commute home I just want to relax. Hopefully I can get a little accountability from this.
Look forward to the new friends!

I know what you mean, it's very hard having a sit down job. I started walking on my hour lunch break (i bring my tennis shoes to work) then just eat at my desk. Feels great to get moving and get some fresh air and if i don't make a workout at night i don't feel quite as guilty.0

I know this is really hard to do unless you get into a routine but why don't you try to work out before work. It takes a while for it to become a habit. I know sleep is sweet but if you want results you have to change something.
The best advice I ever got: You are an idiot if you keep doing the same thing and expecting to get different results. (Ouch...slap in the face, but thats what it took!!!!)0 -
You are doing well because you did not let it get totally out of control!! Way to go!!
The working thing is really hard, can you go for a walk in the morning before you leave or walk at night? A dog helps you get out and do something... but yet they need to be trained too.
Good luck..

Don't desk jobs suck sometimes?
Stability ball is a good little workout if you have to sit at a desk all day.
some tips for exercising at work.

Definitely make time BEFORE work to exercise. As the day progresses, it becomes harder and harder to get up the motivation to work out, so its best to get it done right away. Yes, it takes some life style changes, but its worth it. Then you'll feel great the whole rest of the day for getting your exercise done and over with0

I have the same problem. I want nothing more then to go straight home after work So...
I have been getting up at 4:00am to be at the gym by 4:30.
I work out for about an hour and a half, shower, dress and go straight to work.
I'm not saying it's easy or that I don't want to stay in bed for that extra time but I haven't missed a week day since Jan 16th and I honestly feel pretty good when I am done.0
