Just finished my first 10K....

in under an hour!! 56:30 to be specific (unofficial time since the official one isn't posted yet). If someone had told me at this time last year that I would be able to run 6.2 miles in under an hour without stopping, I would have told them they were freakin kooky. You truly can do ANYTHING you set your mind to. Thanks for all the support guys!! I wouldn't have been able to do it without y'all! Now it's time to drink a beer!!!!!!!! :drinker:

Awesome! I did one in April and It took me an hour and 20 min. I didn't train for it. So good for you! I bet you feel on top of the world!0

Good for you, friend. I start training for 10k in October. I'll do 7 for st. Patrick's and 10 at some point next year. Then maybe a half. A half. All I've done yet is a 5k so your insight would be appreciated.0

WOW!! Awesome. i'm running my second 5k this Sunday. I can't get over the fact that I can run 3 miles without stopping!! 6.2 miles is awesome...I would love any tips. I want to run a 10k by next summer. loved reading this...keep it up!! have a beer for me!!:drinker:0
