Day 1!

Hey, y'all! I'm very new to this and just getting started today. I work 10/12 hour days and drive a 2 hour commute round trip. I'm 23 years old, I'm 168 lbs, and I'm 5'6" ish. I'm just trying to lose some fat and gain a little muscle 😁
Today I've just maintained my normal eating habits to see how much I typically end up eating and what. At the end of the day I'll be looking everything over and then creating meal plans for myself to grocery shop tomorrow!
I'll also be starting a workout routine this evening after work, something basic as I'm incredibly out of shape and opted to start light and build up. After today I'll be starting to get up at 5:30 am to workout and cook breakfast before work! This way when I get home from work I can just eat dinner, relax a bit and go to bed a little earlier (I have a terrible sleep schedule).
Is anyone else new and just getting started? And to those who have been doing this for a bit, any recommendations/advice?

Take it day by day, if you have a bad day don't let it get you down. Just stay focused on why you started this journey! Good luck and you can do this!!!0

@katethornock97 Hey I am new too. I logged for a couple of days to see how my typical meals are and where do I need changes. Today is my first day of consciously eating and it has been pretty good. Hope you have an awesome journey ahead.0
