Calf strain

Any suggestions for fast recovery on a calf strain ? I am not sure if rolling out and stretching would be helpful or just make it worse. I got it by jumping rope and boxing. Should I just let it rest ?

You could make it worse. I would thinking calling your doctor for some insight is prudent.

Since this is ongoing then see a doctor.

Have you even tried the rolling and massage? That always works for me, however painful it is at the moment.

If you think it's something other than a muscle spasm, then see a doctor. Obviously we can't diagnose you over the internet.

Is this the same injury you had on the 3rd?

Here's a good thread about the same thing recently:

I literally feel your pain. Or thankfully did. If you’re not stubborn as I am, the more rest you can give the injury, the faster it will heal.

What is your current resistance training that involves legs/calves?

I would more than likely modify the load if needed and ROM/movement if needed.
