Just a silly question I’ll probably get schooled on. But what if i started bulking without losing that stomach fat, say im at a 24 bmi and im not fully lean yet. Could i get muscle and would i look good?

Won't what someone looks like at a certain BMI be different for each person?

Deciding when to bulk is mostly based on bodyfat vs BMI. In your case though I would not bulk yet. If you gain weight with a higher bodyfat you are more likely to put on more fat vs muscle and could possibly put yourself at more health risks. I would cut first, continue to lift and get adequate protein then when you are lean enough (for males it's usually around 10-12%) you can choose to bulk.
