Introducing myself

Hello,
I wanted to reintroduce myself. The REAL me. The girl in the picture on the left was lost. She was drowning in her own mind while fighting with herself over right from wrong every single day. She thought that she could change another human beings heart by fueling them with love, no matter how difficult and hurtful that human could be. Maybe it would give her very existence meaning.
She was wrong.
Instead, she taught that human how to parasitically drain her confidence, her self worth, and the light from her soul.
Mental and physical abuse can damage a person to a point of breaking. And that she was. Broken, shattered and scattered around. This was when her eating disorder took over. Crawling out from beneath the shadows and swallowing her whole. She thought that maybe he would love her then. Did he? No.
The girl in the picture on the right is the real Cheyann. I found my radiance. I no longer have disordered eating. I chose to become strong by taking control. I'm eating healthy, weight training to build strength and going to school to become a personal trainer to build knowledge and help the radiant glow of others shine bright. Sometimes, I remember the girl on the left and how weak she would feel. Then I come back to reality and that memory motivates me to lift a little heavier or push a little harder.
I then realized that I AM strong. I AM beautiful, My life is beautiful. My family is beautiful. My dreams are obtainable. I AM worthy. I AM enough. And most of all...I AM loved. Becoming strong does not start in the gym. It starts in your head.
I know that I am not the only one who has seen the girl on the left staring back at them in the mirror. Which led me to share my story to show others that we can overcome anything that this life throws at us. No matter how hard. YOU are strong. YOU are beautiful and YOU CAN achieve greatness.
