I have noticed that I am not the only lady here who is around 5 foot or under.I am hoping to get some buddies who understand how hard it can be to lose weight and have to go under the magic 1200 to keep shifting the pounds.I would love to know what you all eat and whether you can do it without exercising a lot. Please feel free to message me and add me as a friend.x

I'm a shorty (5 feet) but don't have the same goal or problems as some others. My goal weight is around 120 (I would LOVE to be 110 but I don't know if it's work since I have a bigger frame and lots of muscle) and I don't have problems hitting the 1200 calories. I think right now my goal calorie on here is 1520 or something like that. I could EASILY eat 1200 calories...

And of course the typical problem...I'm only 135 pounds so it's like that last tiny little bit that does not want to budge... By working out and eating fairly decent I can maintain fairly well....but I haven't lost anything in months.
  • I'm 5'2" and find it challenging to stay at 1200 calories a day. The key for me is finding filling foods and having them around at all times... If I get too hungry it's particularly hard to stay on track. Some go-to foods for me (right now... seems like it's always changing) is pork-n-beans that I add 98% fat free hot dogs to. That's a filling comfort food for me. I usually eat a Lean Cuisine for lunch, but am hungry by 2:00 at which point I eat some carrots and hummus, or drink a glass of skim milk. I keep cut-up watermelon and grapes in my mini fridge at work. Sometimes I will blend an overly ripe banana with some milk and ice. What about you?

I'm 5'1", and working on the last 11/12 pounds. Feel free to add me.
  • I am also very small. 5"0" and working on the last few pounds. At least, that is my first goal. Maybe I'll get down even lower, but we'll see.

Feel free to add me too!
  • I'm 5' as well, 50 years old. I started at 144.5 and want to get to 128. It's not a huge amount, but it sure shows on our tiny frames, doesn't it?

Feel free to add me as a friend! Us short people gotta stick together!
Have a great day - and stay the course!
    Cathy
