Chinese Takeaway

I really want a chinese tonight and have 1000 calories left from allowance, do you think boiled rice and curry sauce would be ok and not be more?

    Enjoy it and log it the best you can. It will be fine.

    1 cup of steamed rice is about 200 cals.

    That leaves 800 cals for the curry (and beef, chicken or pork) wc should be more than enough of a cal ceiling for 1serving but probably not it if eat the whole box w/more rice. ;)

    So, I'd say eat 1 serving and save the rest for another day.

    How about trying to cook it? There are recipes for Chinese food abound and actually they aren't that hard to cook. You can count on the calorie too! A portion of Chinese-style Chicken stir fry and a cup of rice usually give me about 600 calories, take and give a little. ;)
