Kidney friendly recipes needed!

I just found out that I am a diabetic and that I only have a kidney function of 40. I am having an extremely difficult time trying to combine diets for the two different problems.
Can anyone please help me?!

    Just got back on here, in search of the same help. My husband is a diabetic with stage 4 kidney disease. I sadly still struggle with keeping up with a sustainable diet.
