Hey hope everyone is well!! Ive been overweight most my life and during this pandemic committed to getting healthy. I did Month 1 of insanity twice (finishing week 4 for second time this week) I lost about 2 lbs the first time and have lost another 2 lbs this time. Currently weigh 209 lbs (6ft 1 in height). Ive never been diabetic or diagnosed with any other chronic condition but have noticed that during that last few weeks my fasting blood glucose is 108. It doesn't make sense to me considering ive started eating clean whole food (high protein moderate carb and caloric deficit) and working out and over all adopted a healthier life style. Prior to working out my glucose levels were fine so why now when ive made a change for the better? Although this is one for the doctor, unfortunately where I live doctors aren't taking non-emergent cases due to the coronavirus pandemic. Has anyone had this before or knows what this could be? Id absolutely love the insight as im freaking out that could I be developing diabetes?

Could you email your doctor? That’s how I keep in touch with them. Either by phone or PM.

Agreed to talk with md. Though, there is a margin of error inside of most meters of 10%, I would suggest a lab fasting glucose. If you have no preexisting conditions, why are you checking bs.

I just check from time to time because I have a strong family history for it. Every elder family member has diabetes so just in case time to time I check. Call me paranoid haha

No judgement here. I'm type 2 in "remission". Go to m.d. get fasting lab work. Jmho

No I think you right psychod787. I’ll do my best to get it done ASAP. Just crazy how things are with COVID. I’ll try to get an appointment ASAP
