Is there a way to view in message board newest posts first? I am trying to look at some success stories but it starts back in 2014?!

Instead of clicking on the 1st page .... click on like page 400 for example.... that will take you to this year not 20140

The topics are in order of most recent comment, no matter when the topic was started. And before those, you first have the stickied topics.
There's also a "Recent discussions" link with the recently started threads and threads that have recent comments, from all the subforums combined though.0 -

What?
No, what happens is that when someone posts in a thread, that thread will get bumped to the top of the Subforum menu/list.
If twenty threads from 2014 get bumped today, then they are first. If a thread from 2008 gets bumped, it's first.
The answer to the original post is, "No." Threads are listed in the order of the most recent posts in the thread, not when the thread was started.
Unless there is something different in the APP. I use the web version.1 -

I understand and this is correct but the way I understand OP's question is they are asking about specific threads, not the menu. Example, the nsv thread...OP doesn't want to read the older nsv comments from 2014, they want to jump to current dates so yes, they'd have to scroll to the current page in that thread.0 -

She was asking about the success thread .... so instead of starting on page 1 (year 2014) she would need to move to the middle of the pages ( I used paged 400 for an example) ... I hope that makes sense0 -

Hey, well we answered both questions!
I get what you mean, and on vBulletin forums you can choose to order the thread in ascending or descending order of dates of posts.
This forum format, Vanilla, doesn't give the user that option in a thread.
Honestly the OP is kinda confusing:Willownwind32 wrote: »Is there a way to view in message board newest posts first? I am trying to look at some success stories but it starts back in 2014?!
Success "stories" would be to me, individual stories/threads.
But then she says, "newest posts."
I have faith she'll figure it out0 -
Just go to the last page of the thread you're reading.
I think what the OP is asking, for example, is a thread like "What's Your Most Recent NSV" which started back in 2014. I haven't read that thread in a year, so if I click on it, it'll take me to posts from last year. Someone who's never read that thread will be taken to the first post back in 2014.1
