What's the best job you've ever had?
Mine was for an online gaming co. It didn't pay well but it had great perks and a great work environment.

My current one. The research is interesting, but its mostly the group/workplace I am in. Everyone gets along, no one micromanages me, the management is super understanding of family/home life needs, they lean towards production vs time so as long as I am getting my work done no one seems to care if I need to cut the workday a bit short here or there for personal reasons. And, my boss seems to be a good guy and really look out for his people. Contractors tend to be considered expendable in the government world. He seems to actually give a *kitten* about us and I have seen him stick by his people in bad situations.5

This is silly but I used to work at a pizza place when I was 17 and had the best time with the other ppl I worked with. I was constantly laughing and had fun. No job I've had since then has been "enjoyable", hence me trying to get a degree now in what I'm hoping will bring fulfillment.

Well, apart from my current one I really enjoyed head dog trainer/assessor at the facility I worked for. Very fulfilling.3

I'd have to go with the self employed/own business thought. Everything else I did was terrible.
But being an in-home childcare provider for 39 years, was the best of both worlds. It definitely had it's ups and downs. 3 -
Working at gleneagles hotel in Scotland worked my shift the staff party's like American pie party's every night happy times 😁😁😁🤗4

I used to work in a flower shop. I loved being surrounded by such beauty every day. Caring for the plants, making floral arrangements. I really miss it.9

Dishwasher in a Mexican restaurant. Not only did I learn to speak Spanish (not well), I was just responsible for dishes. Awesome.3

I have worked at the hospital I work at for 25 years. Housekeeping for a year, then a nurse aid, then a unit secretary, then a nurse, I worked in management for surgical and pediatrics and as an IT nurse, forensic nurse, ER and now Infection Prevention Nurse. I have delivered babies and held hands as people passed on into their next life. All of these experiences have made me who I am today. But my favorite one was while I was in college and working as a nurse aid. We had fun and gave great care and I miss that. It was simple. My job now is interesting but complicated and stressful. I just want to take care of people and make sure they are bathed and comfortable no matter if they are going home or to heaven.6

Probably when I was under contract with the Ballstein Modeling Agency & Maury helped me land a great gig launching the Mugatu 93' Spring and Summer fashion line.
As an added bonus, the chia lattes we had during the photo shoot were simply fabulous.

Grad school was a lot of fun. The stipend wasn't luxurious but it was a living wage and, since I got the course requirements out of the way early on, I had basically nothing but free time aside from a perfunctory two hours of TA-ing a week.1

Nude art model for a college. Get paid to sleep and/or read books. Once you get past the initial awkwardness, it's an easy job that pays well.
They used to occasionally let me dress up in costumes for the students to draw as well. Fun times.3 -

Working as a bar maid in this really rough, dive of a bar. The people were scary but hilarious.
And obviously as it was me serving them drinks, they were usually very nice to me 😁

In College, my Basic Drawing class did figure drawing. Our model was a creepy old dude who would take breaks, put on chunky white sneakers, and a tiny black disco robe ...and then proceed to walk around the room and try to chat up the ladies...awkward times indeed lol
