I am super picky w/breakfast as i am not hte biggest fan of eggs, i have to be in the right mood. So here are my go to breakfast meals:

    1.) weight control instant oatmeal
2.) cereal- either special k, kashi go lean or chocolate cheerios (actually not AS bad as they look) but ill usually try to get some extra way of having protein, like these protein shots i take w/it- so its not just carbs.
3.) scrambled egg whites w/turkey & a side of toast.
4.) on a higher carb day... vans organic gluten free waffles w/sugar free syrup & strawberries.
5.) thomas 100 calorie thin bagels w/one wedge of light laughing cow cheese
6.) light 100 calorie english muffin w/natural peanut butter &^ sliced banana.
  • I thought protein made you put on weight? plus im alergic to NUTS :-(

I'm a big fan of weetbix with warm milk. 3 weetbix + 1/2 cup 2% milk is c. 200 calories of stick to the ribs fullness for the morning.

Eggs, totally. I eat like 20-30 a week.

    Delicious.

So many ways to make them... different scrambles, omelets, fried over lowcal toast, you name it.
  • All great ideas just im soooo not a morning person and i work in an office so i need to just grab n go
  • I mix it up but main things I go between:

Carnation breakfast essentials (blue box) no sugar added

then I add one of the following:
    dannon light and fit yogurt
    hard boiled egg
    fruit
    piece of string cheese
    oatmeal

on weekends then things are different:
    waffles
    pancakes
    malt o meal

Well, this isn't cheap, but it's very filling and has a decent calorie count. One of my "usual" breakfasts is a low-carb tortilla (80 calories), 1/4-1/3 c of egg beaters (30 cal), a smear of spicy fat free refried beans (25 cal) and 2oz of Melissa's soyrizo (precooked) (120 cal). Delicious, filling, full of protein and fiber for 255 calories.
  • Today i had an innocent smootie 70 cals
  • Oscar Mayer - Deli Style - Turkey Breast - Smoked Thin Sliced, 2 slices (51g) 15
All Whites - Egg Whites, 0.75 cup 90
Publix - Chunky Salsa, All Natural - Medium, 2 tbsp 10

    115 cals

All Whites - Egg Whites, 0.5 cup 60
    Oscar Mayer - Deli Style - Ham - Smoked Shaved, 0.75 serving (5g) 34
Great Value - Jalapenos Slices, 2 Slices 00

    94 cals

I love hearing what you're all eating, need some new ideas!

you know if you aren't hungry at breakfast you don't have to eat it...
  • Isn't that bad for your metabolism?

  • Definately eggs! You could always make up a chunky omlette/frittata the evening before and then just take it with you if you are in a rush in the am.

1 Arnold Whole Wheat Sandwich Round
2 Eggs (or substitute egg beaters to cut fat and calories)
1 Smart Beat Lactose Free Fat Free Cheese
    2 Hormel Canadian Bacon Slices
    Pam Butter Flavor Spray

Toast sandwich round and split in two. Cut cheese slice in half and place on each round. Warm canadian bacon in fry pan and top on cheese. Fry eggs and place one on top of each round.

Very filling, full of protein and only 335 calories when made with Eggland's Best eggs!
