First day

Hi, it’s my first day using MyFitnessPal and it seems amazing. During lockdown I’ve put on over a stone so looking to shed some pounds on a low fat and low calorie diet!

Look forward to giving you all my support and encouragement!

Let me know if you have upgraded to premium and whether it’s worth doing, I was just about to and then decided to do a month first.

    Welcome! Jump right in! I joined nearly a year ago and have successfully lost just shy of 30 pounds, but also gained a great community to learn through! #1 best tip/advice I got as a newbie was to get a food scale and weigh everything, measuring or “per piece/serving” is no where near as accurate.

    Premium is worth it for me to not have the ads. I hate ads and am using this app multiple times throughout the day. I will warn it’s not without glitches though, but I have learned to ignore them mostly. I think there is a price difference between the app and PC (another glitch maybe?) so check it out through both just in case. But you can use the free one, many on here do quite successfully. I think ads are the main difference for day to day use (there are other features, not sure the differences though, nothing crazy drastic).
